Flytech Bladestar
Instruction on flying the Bladestar
Now you can have your very own helicopter and fly it inside the house. You have to charge it so that it has enough battery and attach the two rotor blades. And it is ready for take off.
Read on to see how you can fly it.
On the one side there is an on/off switch. You need to turn it to the left, that is to the ‘on’. There is a LED that will turn on and indicate the helicopter is on.
For take off put the Flytech Bladestar in a long corridor so that it has enough space to fly. The taller end must see up and the LED opposite your direction.
You then need to turn on the remote control, through the switch in the side, and point it at the Bladestar and push the left-hand stick to the front, pull it back and once more forward.
When the blades will start turning you need to press and release the button that shows the direction you want the Bladestar to go.
These buttons are on the right side of the remote and they will set the helicopter in an semi- autonomous mode which means that the Bladestar will be able to sense the obstacles and avoid them. This is your first flight with the WowWee Flytech Bladestar as now you see it off the ground.
In the package you will find a user’s manual so that you can read in detail the process that you need to follow to lift the helicopter from the ground and how you can use the remote control..
When you are done flying turn the Bladestar and the remote off so that you can place them back in the box and store them safely.
In order to place the Flytech Bladestar back in its case you have to take off the two blades so that it can fit back inside.
Flytech Bladestar Battery Instructions
The battery is rechargeable so you won’t need to change it. The batteries from the remote will have to change once they are out. We will give you directions on how to recharge the battery of the Flytech Bladestar along with instructions on how to change the batteries of the remote.
For the remote you need to unscrew the door that holds the battery door. There are six AA batteries that will need to be changed so you can recycle the old ones.
The batteries should be placed correctly, the negative and the positive sides at the correct place. When you are done put back the door and replace the screw once again.
For the Flytech Bladestar itself to charge you need to unscrew the right-hand cap that is on the front of the remote. When you take it off you will see that there is cord with a small plug on it.
It is needless to say that the Bladestar needs to be turned off to charge it. You need to plug in the cord on the side of the WowWee Flytech Bladestar. The angled part of the plug should look down.
You then turn the switch of the remote to ‘charge’ position and some green lights will appear. After 20 minutes the charge should be completed thus a green light at the top will start blinking. You then unplug the cord, turn the remote control off and put the cord back in its place.
Once you start flying the Flytech Bladestar you will realize that it is very easy to do so and very fun at the same time. If you set it in the semi-autonomous mode you will see that with its internal sensors it is able to navigate itself away from obstacles and you just have to control the height that you want the helicopter to fly.
